Residing in Hiawatha, KS, Ryan and Jamie Van Peursem have spent over a decade in ministry.
Ryan started by leading a ministry for college students while living in Pittsburg, KS in 2005. Jamie got her start by volunteering at church camps while going through high school and college. After getting married, they moved to Bethany, MO where they began youth ministry work in 2008.
In 2013, Ryan and Jamie moved to Hiawatha, KS where Ryan worked part time as a youth pastor as well as part time as a hospice chaplain. Since then, Ryan has begun doing pulpit supply and interim pastor work, while Jamie began her career as a Kindergarten Teacher.
In 2021, Ryan and Jamie began their own ministry called Catch 5:9. The ministry they offer involves their passion for doing one on one care, public speaking as well as providing uplifting videos on their website. They have four daughters (Autumn, Hope, Emary and Ariel) here on Earth, and a daughter and son (Summer and Jesse) who are already enjoying the splendor of heaven.
